KISS & WĒTĀ WORKSHOP: TWO GIANTS GET TOGETHER AND CHOOSE OUR PARTY IN NEW YORK CITY TO UNVEIL FOR THE FIRST TIME THEIR UPCOMING PROJECT.

Wētā Workshop is an award-winning company of conceptual design and goods founded by Richard Taylor and Tania Rodger.

Over the course of more than 30 years, they have used their innovation and art for the creative industries around the globe. Taking on exciting projects of any size, range or scale, from the very early stages of creative development until the making and delivery in almost any corner around the world. They love working in collaboration with their customers to give life to their ideas. From their humble beginnings in the back room of their apartment in Wellington (New Zealand) Richard and Tania have turned Wētā Workshop into what it is today. Their 18,000 m2 facilities houses a united creative team and a big range of design and production in multiples areas departments.

Wētā Workshop was the company providing all the props for countless films, including the trilogies The Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit, Avatar and Thor Ragnarock among many more.

Alongside all of this, they’ve also been producing highly detailed collectibles for over 20 years. This year 2023 they have started collaborating with KISS, with their figures KISS MINI EPICS which are already available for preorder on their website: https://www.wetanz.com/eu/brands/kiss

But besides all of that, they unveiled in New York last Friday December 1^st at the same time as the last KISS concerts ever, at the party organized by KISS ARMY SPAIN at Hard Rock Cafe New York City after the first KISS concert at Madison Square Garden, a brand-new launch of a 1:4 scale figures that will be available in early 2024. The first of them, The Demon (Gene Simmons, Destroyer era) was premiered at our party and, of course, this amazing collector item is ready to make its grand debut, capturing the essence of an iconic and enigmatic legend: The Demon.

For this premiere Lisa Birchall (Senior Sales & Operations Manager) and Jules German (Creative Director, Collectibles) from Wētā Workshop flew over to New York City, who we want to express our most sincere gratitude. The connection with KISS ARMY SPAIN was incredible from the first minute.
