Criss, de 71 años, se retira de las actuaciones en directo y la giras, y el evento, en Melbourne el 12 de Mayo, está anunciado como su despedida de Australia.
El promotor, Peter Hoffman de Shout Out Loud Events, dijo que Criss tocará en torno a 14 canciones, incluidas algunas de su antiguo catálogo nunca tocadas en directo.
Los fans acérrimos recibirán una cena de tres platos en el Hotel Sofitel de cinco estrellas, además de bebidas.
El evento está limitado a 500 personas y durará cuatro horas. Criss hará dos eventos con cena y show antes de retirarse, el otro será en Nueva York.
“Es caro, pero es caro traerle con el dólar australiano y el tipo de cambio en este momento”, dijo Hoffman.
“Recibes una actuación que no ha hecho antes. Ace Frehley hizo un evento para los fans que costó 750 $ y estabas con él 10 segundos. Gene Simmons y Paul Stanley cobran en torno a 1.500 $ y no estarías con ellos más de unos cuantos segundos. Así es como Peter quería despedirse. Podríamos haberlo hecho en el Festival Hall pero él quería tener un adiós íntimo con sus fans”.

Promoter Peter Hoffman of Shout Out Loud Events said Criss will perform around 14 songs, including some from his back catalogue never played live.
Diehard fans will get a three course meal at the five star Sofitel Hotel, plus drinks.
The event is limited to 500 people and will run for four hours.
Criss is doing two dinner and show events before retiring — the other being in New York.
“It’s expensive, but it’s expensive to bring him out with the Australian dollar and the exchange rate at the moment,” Hoffman said.
“You’re getting a performance he hasn’t done before. (KISS’) Ace Frehley did a fan event that cost $750 and you got to meet him for 10 seconds. Gene (Simmons) and Paul (Stanley) charged around $1500 and you wouldn’t have got more than a few seconds with them.
“It’s the way Peter wanted to say goodbye. We could have done Festival Hall but he wanted to have an intimate goodbye to his fans.”
